Subscription & Cancellation Policy
Recurring billing
Searchlight self-service plans are recurring subscriptions. Unless checkout expressly states otherwise, a monthly plan renews automatically each month until canceled. The plan, price, billing frequency, and taxes shown at checkout control your purchase. By completing checkout, you authorize recurring charges to the payment method associated with your Stripe customer account.
Current self-service pricing
The current published Freelance Recruiter plan is $249/month. Recruiting Firm plans begin at $799/month and may vary by seat tier. The amount displayed in Stripe Checkout before purchase is the controlling charge for that subscription.
How to cancel
You may cancel future renewal at any time through the online billing-management method provided with your Searchlight account. You may also request cancellation by emailing hello@getsearchlight.io from the account’s billing or login email. We will not require you to purchase another service or speak with sales to cancel.
When cancellation takes effect
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, cancellation stops the next renewal and your paid access continues through the end of the current billing period. After the paid period ends, paid features may become unavailable. Cancel before the next renewal date to avoid the next recurring charge.
Refunds
Fees already charged are generally non-refundable and are not prorated for unused time, except where required by applicable law or where Searchlight expressly states otherwise at checkout or in writing. This policy does not limit any non-waivable statutory refund or cancellation right.
Price changes and renewal notices
Searchlight will provide notices of price changes, automatic-renewal terms, or renewal reminders when required by applicable law. If you do not want to continue at a new price, cancel before the new price takes effect.
Failed payments
If a recurring payment fails, access may be limited or suspended while the payment remains unresolved. We may retry payment through Stripe as permitted by the payment arrangement and applicable law.
No free trial unless stated
Searchlight does not promise a free trial unless a specific checkout offer expressly states one. A sample feed or source-linked sample is not a paid subscription and does not itself create a recurring charge.
